11 Dead & 6 Injured In Pittsburgh Shooting

In one of the deadliest ever attacks on Jews in US history, 11 people were killed and 6 injured after a shooting inside a synagogue in Pittsburgh, US, on Saturday morning. Nearly 60 worshippers were inside the synagogue during the crime. The incident took place during a baby naming ceremony.

A 46-year-old suspected gunman named Robert Bowers has carried out a 20-minute attack at the Tree of Life Congregation in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood. He reportedly shouted "All Jews must die" before opening fire on the innocent victims.

According to the preliminary investigation, Robert Bowers is believed to have spewed anti-Semitic slurs and rhetoric on social media before committing the horrific crime. He surrendered himself to the police and is charged with 29 counts of crime.

American president Donald Trump has strongly condemned the bloody attack, calling it anti-semitic and said that there must be no tolerance for anti-semitism. On late Saturday, thousands of local residents carried out a candlelight peace march and offered prayers for the victims.
