Nikhil's wedding: 'Now they're in Bad Books'

Kannada actor Nikhil Kumaraswamy who is the grandson of ex-PM Deve Gowda and son of ex-CM HD Kumaraswamy entered wedlock on Friday. Despite the lockdown the nuptial took place and more surprisingly the Karnataka police have given permission for the wedding.

The ceremony took place at Kumaraswamy's farmhouse in Ramanagara, outside Bengaluru and pictures of the wedding have floated on the social media. The norms of social distancing, usage of masks and gloves have vanished and this is inviting a lot of criticism.

Union minister Kishan Reddy commented on this and said that leaders who need to set an example to the people are breaching the guidelines of government in such crisis times is a disgrace. "They could have postponed the wedding for some time and now they are in bad books," said Kishan Reddy.

Since this morning the hashtag #NikhilKumaraswamy is trending on social media and the trollers are ridiculing him for being ignorant.

For our Telugu people, Nikhil debuted in Telugu with 'Jaguar' movie and then contested as MP from Mandya and lost in the hands of actress Sumalatha.
