61 New Cases In Telangana, Charminar On High Alert

With a sharp rise of 61 new cases in Telangana, the total number of cases went up to 592 in the state. 17 people among the infected belong to the same family residing in Bhavani Nagar near Charminar. Another 45 members who are close to that family, were sent to tests. The sudden rise in cases in Telangana shocked the officials and more preventive measures will be implemented in Charminar area.

The number of new cases is going up each day with 16 cases on April 11, 28 cases on April 12 and 61 new cases today. The 123 containment clusters and strict lockdown were expected to slow down the coronavirus spread, but the numbers are not coming down yet in the GHMC area of Hyderabad. A person died due to coronavirus in Telangana today. The total deaths are 17.

Andhra Pradesh recorded 7 new cases and the total confirmed cases reached 439. Guntur has the highest number of cases, 93. No new cases were found in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts.

There are 10,075 coronavirus positive cases in India as per the recent tally, with more than 8,555 active cases and 342 deaths. 1178 patients recovered from the virus infection. Kerala has performed more than 14,000 tests and has a total of 378 positive cases and more than 200 recovered. Tamil Nadu conducted tests for more than 12,800 and 1173 of them are positive the state has recorded 98 new cases.
