Life Will Not Be Same Again - PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made interesting remarks during his interaction with the senior leaders and the floor leaders of various political parties where he had conducted an all-party meeting through video conference.

Modi stated that the life will not be same again as it would took a lot of time to bounce back to normalcy. He said life will be categorized as 'Before Covid-19' and 'After Covid-19'. Modi said a lot of social changes and individual behaviour would be imminent in coming days. He added life will not be the same after Covid-19.

Modi opined that the lifting of 21-day lock down - which will end on April 14 - may not be possible considering the prevailing conditions in the country with the increase of number of Corona Virus positive cases with each passing day.

Several leaders too have already requested Modi to extend the lock down.He also explained the leaders about the actions and measures being taken up by the government in these tested times.

While some leaders from Opposition said to have raised the lack of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for nurses, doctors and other medical staff. Few leaders also advised Prime Minister to halt the construction of new building of the Indian Parliament.

The secretaries of Health Ministry, Home Ministry and Rural Development Ministry said to have explained the measures being taken by the government to the floor leaders. Prime Minister has asked the leaders of political parties to standby with the government and people in these troubled times.

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, TRS MP Kesava Rao, YCP's Rajya Sabha leader Vijay Sai Reddy, Ram Gopal Yadav of Samajwadi Party, Satish Mishra of BSP, Chirag Paswan from Lok Janshakti Party, TR Balu from DMK, Sukhbir Singh Badal from Siromani Akalidal, Rajeev Ranjan Singh of Janata Dal United, Pinaki Misra from Biju Janata Dal, Sanjay Raut from Shiv Sena have participated in Prime Minister's video conference.
