AP Govt employees to get half salary now

It is known to everyone that the financial status of Andhra Pradesh is not at all in good condition. Now with Corona virus lockdown, the state's revenue sources are badly hit. This has made it difficult for the government to pay salaries for its employees and so the YSRCP government took a decision on how to pay the employees.

Employees association president Suryanarayana met AP CM YS Jagan and after this meeting, he spoke to the media and added that employees will be getting salaries for the month of March in phase wise manner. "CM Jagan informed me and the representatives of our association that the government would pay half salaries initially and after gathering more funds in the coming days, the rest of the salaries would be paid. We have accepted CM Jagan's proposal," said Suryanarayana.

He added that the state and country is going through a crisis and we need to support the government who are putting a lot of efforts. Suryanarayana also said Jagan assured that the phase wise payment is applicable only for this month.
