#MPCrisis: Scindia resigns to Congress

The political crisis in Madhya Pradesh took a huge turn on Tuesday with Jyotiraditya Scindia resigning to the party. Scindia sent his resignation letter to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and added that he is looking for a fresh start.

"I have been in Congress party for 18 years and it's time to move on. I want to serve the people of Madhya Pradesh and country but I am unable to do this by being in Congress party," mentioned Scindia in his resignation letter.

This resignation letter comes at the right moment when Scindia was spotted at Race Course Road in New Delhi which is Prime Minister's official residence. Scindia met Modi and a few minutes later home minister Amit Shah too joined it.

Scindia has 17 MLAs with him and this makes the Kamal Nath government fall into minority. Important Congress leaders have met today to discuss how to deal with the crisis but it looks like the Congress government will fall and it is just a matter of time.
