Disha Rape Case: KTR Brings A Welcoming Change

City is undergoing some unbelievable changes, and thanks to Minister KTR. Those underpasses which have become a nightmare for many women in Hyderabad, especially to those who come from the outskirts of the city on a daily basis.

KTR has taken the case seriously and has taken some steps and initiatives to assure safety for women in the city. No wonder why he is someone all of us bank on, anytime.

In regards to the Disha rape case that happened a few months ago, changes to many underpasses which make way into the city, have got some light now.

Arvind Kumar, an IAS Officer and Principal Secretary of Urban Development, Telangana took to his Twitter profile to post the update and wrote that this has been done as per the instructions given by KTR. He wrote, "As per instructions of minister @KTRTRS to ensure elimination of dark spots, lighting of all 165 underpasses underneath ORR, used as vehicular / pedestrian crossing, is completed & operational from March 3rd evening onwards. It's a mix of solar standalone & conventional LED." (sic)


The officer has shared pics of the works that have been and they give us a little hope.

This is definitely a happy and promising change to all those people who travel to the city through those areas on a daily basis. Many netizens, on this post, have appreciated KTR for bringing in the change and have requested him to throw some light of many other troubles that Hyderabadis are facing within the city on a daily basis.
