Special Package For Amaravati Farmers?

The word 'Special Package' seems to be haunting Andhra Pradesh. The previous TDP government was fooled by the BJP government in the centre previously and now YSRCP government is thinking to come up with this so-called package for Amaravati farmers.

The high-power committee appointed to decide the capital, met CM YS Jagan at his camp office on Friday. In this, the ministers gave a power point presentation to the CM regarding the development of each district. When it comes to Amaravati farmers, the committee is reportedly considering a 'Special Package' for them.

Revealing the details of the meeting, minister Botsa said, the high-power committee is studying the GN Rao committee report and Boston Consultancy Groups report. "How much of land was used by the government so far from the 29 villages is estimated and how to use the rest of the land is discussed. The high-power committee will meet again tomorrow and finalise the report by Sunday," said Botsa. However, the minister refused to comment on IIT Madras report and said he had no clue of scrapping CRDA.

Overall it appears that the YSRCP government is going ahead with its 'Three Capitals' idea and there is no second thought about it.
