Eluru Ex-MLA, TDP Leader Badeti Bujji Dies

Tragedy has struck TDP yet again. Its senior leader, former MLA Badeti Bujji is no more. Bujji had got cardiac arrest in the wee hours at around 2.30 am today morning. While his family members rushed him to the hospital, doctors have declared brought dead. Bujji reportedly died on the way to hospital. He was 55-year-old. Bujji alias Kota Ramarao was survived by wife and two children.

Badeti Bujji was popular in the party. He had won as MLA from Eluru Assembly constituency in 2014. His sudden and untimely passing away is a big loss to TDP. TDP has been losing its senior leaders. After losing power in 2019, its senior leader and former Home Minister, ex Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao had committed suicide. Many other leaders have changed party giving rude shock to TDP. Sitting Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has been suspended by party due to his growing closeness with YCP and CM Jagan.

Amidst this, Bujji's demise is certainly a big loss to party and cadre in Eluru. Bujji had earlier joined Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party. He had lost the election. Later, he had joined back into TDP. Bujji alias Kota Ramarao happened to be the nephew of veteran actor SV Rangarao.
