Congress Locks Shankar Rao's Mouth

CLP Office in assembly premises is locked today to prevent ex-minister Shankar Rao from conducting a press meet to spit his venom against Chief Minister and other congress leaders.

In a dramatic turn, CLP heads decided to lock out their office in assembly to prevent Shankar Rao from acting further against the ruling party. A furious Shankar Rao shouted slogans like 'Sonia Gandhi Jindabad' to express his anguish against the lock out of the room. 'Is this how you treat a senior like me who is loyal to Nehru and Sonia all the time? How can you choke my voice which is a basic right for any politician?' the veteran leader questioned after sitting on the steps in front of CLP office. He declined to comment further on CM and others, but demanded the resignation of all those in power if they fail to drive Congress party to a win in coming by-polls.

Observers say that this is a direct move by the Congress high-command to show that no leader within the party can talk against the government or those in power. The other day this senior leader commented that CM Kiran is not powerful than him, and today, witnessing that power became his turn.
