Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Rajasthan, has telephoned Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday afternoon as soon as he returned from Rajasthan trip. He called Chandrababu and spoken to him on the heated political developments. The phone call lasted up to 20 minutes, say media reports.
Chandrababu Naidu reportedly explained Modi about the reasons for pulling out his MPs from his cabinet and the prevailing conditions in AP how people are feeling betrayed due to delay in delivering the promises committed by Union Government on the floor of the Parliament and mentioned in the AP Reorganization Act.
Chandrababu said to have spoken to Modi in a severe tone and expressed his total angst. Union Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, MoS YS Chowdary have decided to submit their resignations today evening. The two cabinet ministers have sought Modi's appointment and the appointment has been confirmed at 6 PM where the duo is going to personally meet Modi and submit their resignations.
Since BJP hasn't fulfilled any of its poll promises to AP including the Special Category Status to AP and a lot more need to be done, TDP decided to quit NDA government and mount pressure on Modi and his team.
