News of Guntur East MLA Mustafa (YSR Congress Party) meeting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is doing rounds in social media and it apparently generated a rumor that the legislator is switching loyalties to TDP. There are also reports that Mustafa was taken to CM by Guntur senior TDP leader MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao.
But, while speaking to media, MLA Mustafa has trashed all those rumors and made it clear that he will stay with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The minority leader also made clear that he did meet with the Chief of Telugu Desham and travelled with Rayapati only to seek funds for his constituency.
Mustafa countered the ongoing rumors in media on Saturday, declaring that 'I will not leave YSR Congress for any sort of reasons. If I had such intentions, I would have already switched over to TDP by now. Even in the past, many stories emerged that I will move out of the party but that didn’t turn out to be true.'
Ever since Jagan kicked off his Padayatra, the party gained some momentum in Andhra state and it's in a way stopped the migration of party leaders to a large extent.
