While Jagan Mohan Reddy had quit Congress for not making him the Chief Minister, the former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy had quit Congress when the party took a decision in favour of the new statehood for Telangana against his wish where Kiran Reddy had resigned to his CM chair and took a firm stand in favour of people.
Rightly pointing out this stark difference, none other than CM Chandrababu Naidu has made this remark during inclusion of Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy, younger brother of Kiran Kumar Reddy, who joined into TDP on Thursday. Naidu welcomed Kishore Kumar Reddy into the party with open hands and stated that Kishore has come forward to join TDP to serve people. Naidu added that together they work for the progress of the state.
Recalling the last Chief Minister of the United Andhra Pradesh and his contribution,Chandrababu praised Kiran Kumar Reddy for his services during his tenure as the CM despite tough time when the Telangana movement was at its peak.
Chandrababu stated, "Kiran Kumar Reddy didn't do any drama unlike Jagan Mohan Reddy who did a huge drama. Kiran Kumar Reddy came out of Congress only after he differed with the decision of party president Sonia Gandhi."
Chandrababu stated that Nallari family has good reputation in Chittoor district and even said he personally has 'respect' on the family. These comments of Chandrababu have certainly brought cheer among the followers of Kiran Kumar Reddy and Kishore Kumar Reddy.
