Seat allotment in Assembly irks DL

Now, the senior Congress leader and six time MLA DL Ravindra Reddy, who was sacked from the Cabinet as Health Minister a few days ago, launched another fight against Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy over the allotment of his seat in the house.

DL, who arrived to the house to attend the session on the second day on Tuesday, shocked to see the allotment of seat number 79 in the middle row to him, where newly elected MLAs sit. He immediately rushed to Speaker N Manohar's chambers and complained that he was discriminated in the allotment of his seat. DL took serious note of this and reportedly ranted about CM's domination in the Assembly.

Wondering how the Speaker could be a mute witness to such moves, DL also urged the Speaker to allow him to speak in the Assembly. Later, DL met PCC Chief B Satyanarayana and explained how he was being ill treated by the Chief minister. He brought to the notice of  PCC leader that generally former ministers will be seats in the second row. DL, during his stint in the cabinet, openly criticized the Chief minister on the implementation of the welfare and development schemes and finally lost his job.
