Kangana Reacts, Asks Govt to Ban Twitter

Just a couple of days after her sister Rangoli Chandel's Twitter account suspension took place, actress Kangana Ranaut releases a video of hers on Instagram asking the government to shut down the popular social media platform Twitter in India. As we know, her sister Rangoli's account has been suspended after she tweeted "shoot mullas+secular media" in the context of Muradabad stone-pelting case.

Rangoli's tweet was reported by famous personalities like Sussane Khan Roshan's sister Farah Khan Ali, filmmaker Reema Kagti, actress Kubra Sait and badminton player Jwala Gutta.

Kangana posted the video in reaction to her sister's account suspension and it shows the actress saying that both Farah Khan Ali and Reema Kagti have falsely accused Rangoli of genocide against Muslims.

Kangana clarified that her sister asked to shoot those who were attacking doctors and police officials and they don't believe that every Muslim is attacking doctors and police officials.

Following that, Kangana asks the government to take action against Twitter, alleging that Twitter allows for the Indian Prime Minister, Home Minister and organisations like the RSS to be called terrorists but does not allow terrorists to be called terrorists. She concluded with a topic on Babita Phogat as well.

She took the defence of her and asks for security to be provided to the wrestler as she has been receiving death threats for her tweets accusing the Tablighi Jamaat of spreading Coronavirus in India.

Kangana's new video, where she has addressed in Hindi and her strong support in the name of her sister, is getting huge accolades from netizens. The actress also emphasised on the importance of freedom of speech in a democracy and told that Rangoli did not speak anything wrong.
