Recently AGS Cinemas had produced Vijay's hit flick, Bigil.

Not to forget, earlier during Mersel release in 2017, the BJP in Tamil Nadu and the ruling AIADMK had opposed the film for having dialogues of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the notes ban. It was blamed that the dialogues portray lies about GST and the centre's Digital India campaign.
