AP Governor's simplicity deserves applause

Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan has asked the officials to put an end to the British era formalities during his visits. Recently Biswabhushan had visited Srisailam and here, the temple authorities laid red carpet for him.

After the visit, Governor asked the officials to stop treating him specially which is waste of money. Laying red carpet is a British era tradition and these things should be stopped. Only for the government related programs, make appropriate arrangements and for the rest, keep it simple, said Biswabhushan to the officials.

Certainly the Governor deserves an applause for his simplicity. But this is not the first time, Biswabhushan is being down to earth. In the past he travelled in economy class to Tirupathi like regular passengers and he asks officials and people to get a sapling whenever they come to meet him.

In the premises of Raj Bhavan many new saplings were planted since he took the charge and also specially takes care of them.

This is called setting an example! Well done sir!
