It is once in a blue moon that two films belonging to same hero releasing on the same date. In 90s Nandamuri Balakrishna has done with 'Nippu Rava' and 'Bangaru Bullodu.' Years later Ravi Teja and Nani have done this unique feat. Probably for the first time, two films belonging to same hero and heroine are releasing on the same date which is whole together a rare feat.
The achievers are Indian Michael Jackson, Prabhudeva and Milky beauty Tamannaah. The lead pair's films 'Devi 2' (Abhinetri 2 in Telugu) and 'Khamoshi' are likely to share same release date. Coincidentally, both the film's genre is also similar which is horror backdrop.
'Devi 2' was supposed to hit the screens on May 1st but due to the storm of 'Avengers: Endgame,' the release was pushed. Now we hear from the makers that they are considering May 31st as the new release date. Then came 'Khamoshi.' The producers of the film have locked May 31st too as the release date. The child artist in Kamal Haasan's 'Sagara Sangamam' Chakri Toleti has directed 'Khamoshi.' He is attempting a horror genre for the first time.
While the release dates of the above two films are almost confirmed, Prabhudeva and Tamannaah are not intervening in the issue. Nevertheless, the producers are the ones who are responsible and are supposed to take a call on clash and avoid it. For now there is no sign from producers of either films but we hope they really work on it.
