As a heroine, she has impressed many in the 90s with her sizzling charms and x-factor. Later she moved to Bollywood and became a sought after name there too. But then, she remained unmarried and created another sensation of sorts.
We are talking about Hyderabad born Tabassum Hashmi who has become a big heroine under the name Tabu later on. Apparently, the 47 year old's recent role in Bollywood film Andhadun is winning accolades for her and then she is waiting for Ajay Devgn's De De Pyaar De where she will be seen as his ex-wife in a hilarious role.
Cut to Hyderabad scene, Tabu got roped in by Trivikram to play the role of Allu Arjun's mother in their upcoming film which is tentatively titled Alakananda. Then reports are coming that she agreed to play the role of a civil rights activist who backs naxalites in the film Virata Parvam that features Rana and Sai Pallavi in the leads.
We hear that Tabu is in talks with a couple of other Telugu filmmakers too and she might sign the dotted line for more films.
