Writer-director Bobby is one of the lucky filmmakers to have got the opportunity to direct stars as big as Pawan Kalyan and NTR in his second and third films itself. Despite such huge opportunities, Bobby couldn't use them properly. The credit for the success of Jai Lava Kusa went entirely to NTR and Bobby was criticized for squandering a potential plot
With no established hero keen to work with him, Bobby has reportedly found a 'job' to keep himself busy. It is heard that Bobby has turned a 'Ghost director' for a Gopichand starrer.
For the unknown, Ghost director is someone who directs a complete film or certain portions but doesn't get credit. He is the real but unofficial director.
Gopichand's upcoming film, "Pantham" is being directed by newcomer Chakri. Factors like the macho hero's flop streak and the fact that Pantham is his landmark 25th film, have reportedly pressurized Chakri to the extent that he asked Bobby to help him shoot some pivotal scenes. It is heard that Bobby has ghost directed several crucial scenes in the film.
Neither Gopichand nor the producers mind much as Bobby is relatively experienced than Chakri, who is allegedly fumbling on the sets. Pantham is slated to release in May. Time will tell whether Bobby's ghost direction help Gopichand score a hit.
On a related note, Bobby is likely to direct a multistarrer featuring Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya in his next directorial.
