For Sankranthi festival season, films compete for not just box office supremacy but also TRP Ratings on TV. While the likes of Agnyaathavaasi, Jai Simha and Gang are set for a clash on big screen for this year's festival season, last year's Dasara festival films are now set for a sort of clash on small screen as well.
NTR's "Jai Lava Kusa", the first contender at box office for Dasara 2017, is also releasing a day ahead of its competitors on TV. The World TV Premiere of JLK will be held on this Saturday, Jan 13. On the immediate next day, the remaining two Dasara films - Mahesh Babu's "SPYder" and Sharwanand's "Mahanubhavudu" will be premiered.
The main clash for TRP ratings however will be between JLK and Spyder. While JLK prevailed over the disastrous Spyder on big screen, it needs to be seen which film fares better on small screen during this festival season. Mahanubhavudu, which was true winner of Dasara, is expected to make a splash on TV too.
Besides these three films, Dil Raju and Ravi Teja's "Raja The Great" will also be releasing on Jan 14, the eve of Makar Sankranthi festival. On which film will you place your money among these four films?
On a related note, three notable films premiering on TV on Jan 14, Sunday, may show an impact on the collections of the films in theatres.
