Former Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni reminisced his pre-fame days as he traveled in a train after 13 long years.
While going to Kolkata to take part in the Vijay Hazare trophy, Dhoni kept aside his luxury vehicles and instead traveled along with his teammates in in the Hatia-Howrah Express from Ranchi to Howrah on Tuesday night.
During the journey, Dhoni clicked a selfie with his teammates and later posted it on Twitter. He recollected that he used to travel in general compartments when he worked as a Ticket Collector.
After getting selected for the national side and garnering fame, Dhoni had to skip trains citing his VIP status and security reasons. It took 13 years for him to board the train again.
Dhoni who will lead Jharkhand team in the Vijay Hazare tournament.
