Previous studies highlighted how men are bothered more about attractiveness while looking for long term partner, and that women focus more about resources. Now it has been observed that wealthier men and people who look more confident in terms of their appearance exhibited stronger preferences towards a good looking partner.
The study considered
heterosexual individuals as competing with others from same gender while
bidding to members of the opposite gender for securing a truly romantic
People with higher incomes reportedly had stronger preferences for those good looking partners even as wealthy women showed stronger preferences for men with good income or made good amount of money. Well educated Men showed stronger preferences for good looking and slender female partners.
